Grace has been a freelance art educator since 2016. Below are upcoming classes she will be hosting via Zoom.

Visual Arts 101

Tuesdays 1-2pm – September 15 – October 20

This 6 week cumulative course is designed to take your visual art skills to the next level. Learn how to utilize sketching techniques then apply them into paintings that feature a variety of artistic skills and topics. September 15 – Black & White Sketch Materials Needed: Pencil, Paper, Eraser; September 22 – Scenic Sketching Materials Needed: Colored Pencils, Paper, Eraser; September 29 – Guided Painting Project #1; October 6, 13, and 20- Guided Paintings (Class Will Vote on Topic) Materials Needed for Guided Paintings: Basic palette of Gouache Paint, watercolor paper, paint brushes, a cup of water, paper towels, and plate or pan for mixing colors.

Watercolor 101

Learn the basics of watercolor in a soothing atmosphere. Materials: watercolors, watercolor paper, tape, salt, paint brush, cup of water, paper towels, plate/pan to mix colors, hair dryer (optional).

Sketch 101

Learn the basics of sketching through use of simple art techniques and observing the world around you. Materials: All you need is a #2 pencil, colored pencils, paper, and paper towel.
